If you want to take a dip in Brisbane's inner south, Yeronga Park Swimming Pool Complex is your go-to. It was built back in the 60s and has since become a swimming landmark for Brisbane.

The Olympic sized pool was first built between 1960 and 1964 and since 1972 they've added an extra heated pool for those who want to keep swimming through the winter.

Pool Information

Yeronga Park Pool in Brisbane is the perfect spot to enjoy the warmer months or stay active throughout the cooler ones. The pool has something for everyone, with four swimming pools including an indoor heated pool and 50 & 25 metre outdoor tiled pools as well as a children's wading pool.

If you are looking for a challenge, there is the 50m outdoor pool heated to 26° with 8 lanes for your swimming pleasure. Maybe you're looking for a longer swim? The 25m outdoor pool has 15 lanes heated to a very comfortable 28°.

Not confident in the water yet? There is a 20m enclosed and resurfaced pool heated to 32°, perfect for learn-to-swim classes. Finally, if you're looking to have some fun with the kids, there is an amazing recreational area with fountains and water play ensuring everybody will have a great time.

Whether you're looking for a more relaxed experience with some water play, or you're after a bit of competition with some water polo, there's something here for everyone.

If you're looking for a social way to stay fit and improve your overall health, then Yeronga Park Swimming Pool's Swimfit Classes are just what you need!

Swimfit classes are tailored to adult swimmers of all abilities – from triathletes to casual swimmers wanting to build their fitness levels. With the program running year-round, participants can attend casually, with two sessions per week being recommended.

Aqua Classes offer a great way to shape up while providing impact free exercise in the comfort of a heated pool!
